Data Validation
Check a number from your CRM, DMS, website analytics or a vendor report against Foureyes, and get the reason for every difference.
Version 1.2 ยท Sep 12, 2026
The problem
When two systems show different numbers, people stop trusting both. Most gaps have an ordinary cause, like a different date field, a hidden filter or a time zone. Data Validation finds it and shows what it ruled out.
What you get back
Whether you can trust the Foureyes number for what you're using it for.
Your number, the Foureyes number, the gap, the reason, and how sure it is: confirmed, likely, or not explained.
When and where the difference shows up.
Causes it checked that weren't the reason.
If it looks like a setup problem, a note you can send your Foureyes contact.
CSV files of records on one side only, if you gave a list.
How it works
You give the number and where it came from. It asks up to four questions about the report, each with a default.
It pulls the same number from Foureyes, adding your report's filters one at a time.
If you gave a list, it matches record by record.
It checks the likely causes in order and tests its answer before reporting.
Example output
| Gap | Leads | Reason | How sure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Date field | 22 | Your CRM report counts by last activity. Foureyes counts by created date. | Confirmed |
| Hidden filter | 10 | Duplicates are hidden in the CRM report by default. | Likely |
Try this first
Foureyes shows [number] internet leads for [store] last month, but our CRM shows [number]. Why?
Claude says what it will do and asks a few questions about your report, then returns a table of gaps with reasons.
More questions to ask
- We're missing leads. Why?
- Reconcile this customer list
Good to know
- Accepts CSV, Excel, PDF and screenshots.
- Compares your own data only.
- Files of unmatched records contain real customer data.
- It can't explain records Foureyes never received, but it can show the pattern for your Foureyes contact.
Test before you rely on it
Bring the report name and its filters. Most gaps come from there.
