Lead Touch Rate

See how fast your internet leads get contacted, and how much of that is a person versus an AI or automated persona.

Version 1.4 ยท Sep 15, 2026

The problem

An auto-texting tool can make day-zero contact look perfect while no person has spoken to the customer. Lead Touch Rate splits contact by people from contact by AI and automated personas, so you can see who is working leads and which stores let them sit.

What you get back

By store, day by day

For days 0 to 30 after the lead came in, the share of customers contacted that day, by anyone.

One store, by person

The same view for each salesperson or persona at the store you pick.

By store, people only

The share reached by a person within day ranges: 0-3, 4-6, 7-10, 11-14 and 15-30.

Owner vs who contacted (optional)

Whether each salesperson's leads got worked, by anyone.

In chat

How much of the contact the AI is doing, per store and for the group.

How it works

1

Claude explains what the workbook shows before asking anything.

2

You confirm the stores, the time window and the day ranges. The default window is leads from 90 to 30 days ago, so every lead has had 30 days to be worked.

3

You confirm which CRM names are AI personas, which are people, and which finance or credit-app sources to leave out.

4

It builds the Excel workbook.

Try this first

How quickly are internet leads at [your stores] getting contacted by a person?

Claude explains the workbook, then asks you to confirm stores, the time window, AI personas and credit-app sources before it builds anything.

More questions to ask

  • AI vs human follow-up across our stores
  • Which stores let leads sit untouched?
  • Build the touch-rate workbook

Good to know

  • Covers internet leads only. Phone and showroom leads are left out.
  • Expect several questions first. Only you know which CRM names are real people.
  • It counts who contacted a customer, not how leads were routed.
  • The last 30 days are left out on purpose, because those leads haven't had 30 days yet.

Test before you rely on it

Compare one store's numbers with your CRM's own response report before sharing it.
